In this post I show you how to wear a poncho/cape without looking frumpy & avoiding an unflattering fit.

Betty Suarez and I are one, we are equally as likely to show up to a job interview in a poncho, there's a difference though, I will now modestly go on and toot my own horn...toot toot!!
While Ugly Betty was ridiculed by her Guadalajara, primary color atrocity, I guarantee that by following these tips you'll look very Mode-worthy.

*Always buy one that comes with a belt or belt it yourself...give yourself a waist!!
*If possible layer it under a fitted jacket, this makes you look polished and offers a flattering silhouette, as well as, warmth.
*Opt for neutral colors which conceal the added volume and overall size of such a large piece.
