A while ago Ashley from ashesintofashion created a tag in which she challenged all bloggers to create an outfit inspired by their favorite kardashian, I immediately thougth, Kourtney! Even though I adore her I couldn't stop thinking about a picture I had seen of Kim, so I just went against myself and re-created this outfit.
PS: I found this pic on a website which chose Kim K. as one more celebrity whom had butchered the "color-blocking" trend, specially with this outfit. I still don't know what they were looking at because I adore this ensemble.

Today Colombians all over the world will smile from ear to ear, be louder than usual and try to argue with whomever they come across about the reasons why Colombia is the best place in the world (we're biased). I wanted to teach you a little about my beloved native land because it is such a huge part of who I am.

Hey Loves! I have never been a huge fan of the boho trend/style, however, ever since I saw Spring 2011 collections that had amazing boho pieces, such as, airy silhouttes, embroidered tops, chunky jewels and frayed denim, I kind of had to change my mind. Like always with trends you're not totally comfortable with I suggest dipping your foot slowly, which is why I only bought this blouse and started wearing it with jeans, then slowly moving on to turquoise jewelry and then my most daring piece, this authentic native american jeweled head piece. You might have noticed that the blouse is very sheer and you can totally see my top underneath, which is actually a bikini top (anyone else wear a biki top instead of a bra on super hot days?) I usually don't wear many sheer pieces, specially without a tank underneath, but I think for summer and rocking the boho trend...It is totally acceptable. What do you think? PS: I'm obsessed with my new satchel!

Hey Gangstas! ( writer's block much?). Today was an uneventful day. I have been looking for a way to improve the quality of my photos, but had no idea exactly how to do so, which is why the Mr. suggested that from now on we should dedicate some of our time on Saturdays or Sundays to scouting locations to take photos at. Today we chose a very high end outdoor shopping plaza in the suburbs. They have tons of mom & pop boutiques, exquisite salons and spas, fine restaurants, home improvement stores and lots of specialty shops. I mostly love this place because It has very wide walking areas lined with palm trees and smaller trees, but what I love most is the environment...it is calm and filled with families as well as old women gossiping away while sipping coffee. We had some frozen yogurt while we watched little kids play and hide and go seek TAG; they were hysterical we watched them play until their fumes ran out. SIDE NOTE: This place is so posh that the ground I was standing on while taking the photos was cushioned...literally bouncy. Can someone tell me why? (I assumed it was for children to play)

You guys have seen these pants before, worn in a much different way. As soon as I came across these pants I was absolutely obsessed and did not even hesitate to buy them. I don't know about you, but as soon as I get a new item my mind just starts going 1000 miles per hour trying to figure out how many different ways I can wear it. I honestly think these pants are going to be my winter go-to pants and would look amazing with some layers, such as a silky blouse, a leather jacket, or a sharp black blazer. Being that it is extremely warm outside, I decided to rock them with a bright neon tank (color doesn't photograph well) some floral and pearl necklaces and leg-elongating nude peep toes. ONCE AGAIN I'm trying to style one piece in as many ways as possible, this ensemble is very casual and I'm sure you'll see much more of these babies. xo

building blocks of a wardrobe, and promised you that I'd show you how to create many outfits with just the basic pieces I spoke about. These two outfits feature 2 of my timeless and very classic wardrobe essentials, however, both ensembles remain fresh , colorful, and on trend.
