Last week two of my favorite bloggers, Flor & Dany started a new series of fashion challenges, as soon as I read about it, I was sold. This challenge was very fun for me, because surprisingly I've never been a believer of the so called "faux pas" of mixing prints. I have to be honest, while wearing this trend...one walks a very thin line between, daring and clashing (SCREAMS). I took the easy way out, mixing an all american classic and neutral print with a exquisitely rich print. My favorite part of this outfit is the SKIRT, I love everything about it, specially the shape and ruffle detailing. I wore this outfit last saturday, May 21st for my birthday celebrations. To be honest I am little kid at heart, my birthday has never been a big deal to me and all I always want to do is get some gifts and be with friends and family. Unfortunately, this birthday I was away from my family and in a new city, but I've made my own family with my doggie and hubby and they both treated me like a queen. I am very appreciative of my personal and family life so you eill most likely never see or read much of my "behind-the-scenes" life, but I CAN say that on my birthday i felt very blessed and loved. I usually never talk abouts gifts or money I receive, but the gift the hubby gave me I AM SOOOO EXCITED ABOUT. I've been bugging him like twice a day about a SEWING MACHINE. I kinda know how to use it, I have to practice more. I can't make anything cause I know nothing about patterns, but I can alter all my clothes. CLICK BELOW FOR MORE!
