Accent Lady

Hey Dolls,
I absolutely adore this shoes but they're a little bit challenging to style, which is why I often wear them with monochromatic outfits or very neutral outfits. I love the idea that "military fashion" brings to the table, it combines girly with rough & often makes us step outside our comfort zone. When Kristina from Pretty Shinny Sparkly posted the new BDIB challenge, I immediately ran towards this booties. I hope you enjoy this post & thanks for visiting.

Planes & Things

Hey Dolls,
I hope you had a great weekend. I spent it cleanning & decorating the house for Thanksgiving. I am still not sure if our friends are coming over, which makes it that much more difficult to plan. Since my weekend was so uneventful I decided to post some photos from last weekend.
I attended an "air show" at an Air Force base in the Las Vegas area, it's a place where you can see a variety of military aircrafts while fighter jets do all kinds of crazy stunts in the air.
It was so fun & interesting.

On the Bridge

Here are some additional pictures from last post!
I really don't like to overwhelm you with more than 5 photos per post, which is why I have split these. I hope you enjoy & thanks for all you sweet comments xo

The Bridge!

While I was in NJ I really learned to appreciate nature & landscapes, I think mostly because, the scenery is so different between the East & West coasts. I was lucky enough to see my favorite season while I was in NJ. love the colors of fall, the wheater & mostly the excuse it gives me to wear layers & fab boots.
I wish I could take all my outfit photos at this location because, it is just so beautiful & it has so many different spots that would make the perfect background, but hopefully I'll find some place in Las Vegas that we can all fall in love with.

Just what I Love!

I haven't been blogging as frequently as I would like & it feels not so good. I've realy come to love it and lately whenever I get a little free time I draw up ideas for my blog & try to improve whatever I can. I think every blogger has a signature "factor" or something that they love to post about, which their readers also appreciate.
I am still trying to figure out what this blog's signature is & this outfit gives me some ideas. I love shows like "What not to Wear" & "How do I Look?", because they teach real women how to dress in a flattering & efficient way with a real budget.
This outfit features pieces that you've seen a few times before, but it doesn't make you think that I am a hobo who doesn't own a decent amount of clothes lol, it just shows that I love every piece I purchase & see endless opportunities for them. I'd love to share that mentality & tips with you.
Look out for some shopping & wardrobe strategies soon.

Within a Memory 2.0

Hey Loves!
Here is the same dress from last post without the fur vest & with a little touch of color added by the turquoise belt, which is a D.I.Y. that I made with some old jewelry.
As soon as I saw the first H&M add for this dress, I knew that the 30mins drive + 20min walk through Caesars Palace was so worth it. This dress will be my little black dress this winter & I might even dedicate a little series to it, because of it's versatility.

Hope you enjoyed!

Within a Memory! 1.0

I am back for good now! I had a great time catching up with family and visiting some memorable places during my stay in New Jersey. I ate close to 20 slices of pizza, loads of amazing Chinese food and finally had the pleasure of visiting Muscle Maker Grill. You may be wondering why I am writing about food specially when I could be writing poetry about the background in these photos. There is a very simple explanation to that; The hubby and I are total foodies and built some amazing memories while hunting for unique and exquisite wholes in the wall; our most solid tradition involved, this beach and to-go orders. We would lay a blanket near the water and enjoy our culinary selection.
Coming back to this beach immediately brings me back to those days, which makes this post my favorite so far.

PS:  This is the famous NJ Shore, which is a 10 min walk away from our house.
Thanks for all your love!
